GitComet in 44 Seconds

Open repositories and worktrees as tabs, find a commit, review its changes and make a focused commit. This short tour follows an everyday Git workflow in GitComet.

Steps shown in the video

Recorded on Linux. The shortcuts below match the recording.

  1. Press Ctrl+N to open a new window. Drop several repository folders onto the welcome screen to open them as tabs.
  2. Open repositories and linked worktrees from the sidebar. Use Ctrl+Tab to switch between tabs.
  3. Press Ctrl+F to find commits in the log, then select a commit to review its changes.
  4. Use Alt+Down to move to the next change and F4 to move to the next file.
  5. Press Space to stage a file and move on. Write a commit message, then press Ctrl+Enter to commit the staged changes.
